ZIP archives do a wonderful job of compressing files into a single package. In Windows, you can easily create a ZIP file by selecting some files, right-clicking and going to Send To -> Compressed.
But when you open the ZIP file through Windows, you do not get the option of individually extracting files; Windows automatically extracts the archive. To get more option you need to have a 3rd party compression program installed. If a lack of installation privileges or any other reason does not let you allow such a program, WobZIP is there to solve your problem.

WobZIP is a free web service created to unzip ZIP archives. All you do is upload your archive on the site and get the list of files it contains. If the archive is password protected, simply provide the password.
You can then view the list of files and download the one you need.
If you are about to download a large ZIP from the web that contains many files that you do not need, you can pass it through WobZIP and obtain only the files you do need. This can be done through WobZIP’s “Uncompress from a URL” feature. You provide the ZIP file’s URL and its password, in case it is protected by one.
Again, the list of files is displayed from where you can choose the files you need.
WobZIP is highly useful because in addition to regular ZIP files, the service can also work with 7z, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZHCHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB, and NSIS archive formats. 100 MB is the maximum archive size you can upload to WobZIP.
